Charitable Event Pick: Alzheimer's Event At Arena

In these tough times, non-profit groups need help more than ever. Which is why it’s even more rewarding to support their efforts through social events like the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) upcoming Fifth Annual For the Love of George.

Arena Street: AFA’s upcoming mixer will take place at this spacious club in Times Square

Scheduled for Thursday, October 15th, the fundraising reception will take place at Arena Street in Midtown. Festivities include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, live entertainment, a celebrity MC, silent auction, 50/50 raffle and more.

For the Love of George is part of a national tribute held in honor of the late George Irvin, a grandfather to the AFA New York Junior Committee co-chairs, as well as the millions of individuals who have had or are living with Alzheimer's disease.
